This was not bad. Interesting look more on the late-night talkshow scene and a little behind what goes in to put that on, at least in 1977. Then there’s a new angle to it. Told through a pseudo documentary style that allows a couple different angles to the story. Debunker. Worms. Devil. Allegedly. Let’s Prove it!
We see the chaos of the times play out in quick news clips, circa the early 1970s. Protests. Energy Crisis. No Gas. Charles Manson. Tricky Dick. Black Magic. Wait, wha‘choo talkin about, Willis? Presented here is Jack Delroy, new late night television host to hit the airwaves on April 4th, 1971. Overall a pretty unique way to approach the found-footage avenue. It’s been awhile since Blair Witch and maybe those Paranormal ones, I’m sure more since then, they probably suck or else I’d have remembered the titles. Or not. I am drunk, recall can might be some limitsted. With host Jack Delroy and his interesting “Harmless Summer Camp” histories and whatnot, seems kinda cool. Mark Dice may think otherwise, but, y’know. This is the Third film by some Australian brothers. Pretty Low key, well done. Like a cross between Network and The Exorcist, but with less pea soup and needles. Wait. Shit. Needles were The Substance, not Network. Well, premises are still the sa...shit. No they’re not even close. What’s going on here?!? Stupid TV and its stupid manipulatins!
This is a decent dramatic horror kinda thing. Pretty savage climax. There you go.
